Josh is dedicated to training and qualifying committed students of all ages and experience levels. In the US Navy, he spearheaded physical fitness programs for all of his deployments to ensure the readiness of his own command, and to help train the servicemembers who showed interest in the rates of EOD and Seal. As team leader, he trained US Navy Special Warfare, US Army soldiers, and foreign special operatives in IED awareness and counter tactics, techniques and procedures. Rendering safe thousands of underwater and surface explosive devices. While on deployments, he focused his efforts on combat readiness for himself and his command. He was qualified as an ESAMI, Senior EOD Technician, and Dive Supervisor. As ESAMI and Senior Tech, he ensured the proper training and qualifications were achieved by his command's personnel. As high-risk supervisor on Scuba, MK 16 Mod 1, and Mk 20 he qualified divers, dive supervisors, and HRST/Cast. In 2014, he set the service record of the largest close quarter combat training with the largest multinational exercise at the time. Now, he focuses his attention on teaching self-defense to everyone willing to learn.
